Description
We continue to Barreal, a charming mountain setting, where we'll discover the immensity of the El Leoncito Pampa and the unspoiled beauty of El Leoncito National Park. It is home to two of the most important astronomical centers in the Cuyo region: the CASLEO Observatory, part of CONICET (National Council of Tourism), and the CESCO Observatory, part of the National University of San Juan.
The tour culminates in the town of Calingasta, where its historic town center and the moving Cristo de la Misericordia (Christ of Mercy) await us, from where you can enjoy dreamy panoramic views. We return to San Juan in the afternoon, our hearts filled with unforgettable landscapes and experiences.

Muy recomendable, sin vueltas. Pagamos bastante menos que otras opciones y la experiencia fue igual de buena. Nunca vi algo parecido a Calingasta. Que incluya traslado ida y vuelta desde la ciudad de San Juan te saca un problema de encima.

La pasamos bien, lo recomiendo con un par de salvedades. Sale más que hacerlo suelto, pero te ahorra toda la organización. La naturaleza del lugar te desconecta por completo. El precio de las bebidas en el lugar es exagerado. Se puede mejorar, pero no me arrepiento de haberlo hecho.

Un buen paseo, sin llegar a ser inolvidable. Llevá una campera liviana, el clima cambia rápido. El tramo en camioneta se siente largo. Lo recomendaría igual.

Admission to El Leoncito Park is not included. It costs approximately AR$3,000. It is paid upon entering the park.
