Our adventure takes us next to the imposing Cerro Villicúm, passing through the picturesque town of Talacasto and entering the mystical Quebrada de las Burras. From there, we head towards the heart of Calingasta, until we reach Barreal, a charming corner that seems frozen in time.
The trip continues towards the majestic Pampa El Leoncito, a 13-kilometer plain that stretches like a canvas under the clear skies of the Andes. There we will visit a unique astronomical complex, located 2552 meters above sea level, on the threshold of the Cordillera. This astronomical reserve of 70,000 hectares guarantees a pure sky, perfect for getting lost among the stars.
On the way back, the road gives us a spectacular view of Cerro Alcázar. We will have the opportunity to walk along its trails and feel the immensity of nature at every step. As the afternoon falls, we will return to the city of San Juan with indelible memories and the feeling of having visited one of the most magical landscapes in the country.

Muy recomendable, sin vueltas. Nos tocó un guía excelente, con mucha data y buen humor. Vale madrugar, el paisaje a esa hora es otra cosa. Si volvemos a San Juan, lo repetimos.

Nos quedamos con una buena impresión. Correcto el guía, aunque el micrófono le fallaba cada tanto. Se puede hacer sin experiencia previa, te explican todo antes. Me hubiera gustado un poco más de tiempo en la última parada. Recomendable en general.

Reservamos meio sem expectativa e acabou sendo o melhor dia da viagem. A reserva foi simples e a confirmação chegou na hora. Nunca vi nada parecido com Cerro Alcázar. Recomendo para qualquer idade.

Se pasó volando y nos quedamos con ganas de más. Nos tocó un día despejado en Burras y fue una suerte enorme. La caminata hasta Paisajes de Ensueño valió cada paso. Es más accesible de lo que parece, no hace falta estar entrenado. El almuerzo fue simple para lo que dura la jornada.

We picked it from the photos and it was even better in person. No experience needed, they brief you beforehand. The wifi they advertised did not work. If you are in San Juan, do not miss it.
