With two full-day excursions, enjoy two of the most impressive places in northern Argentina: Cafayate and Humahuaca. Towards the south of the province of Salta, crossing the towns of the Lerma and Calchaquíes Valleys, you reach Cafayate. There you can admire the impressive rock formations such as La Garganta del Diablo, El Anfiteatro or El Sapo. In addition, delicious Cafayateños wines will be tasted. On the other hand, on the excursion to Humahuaca you will visit Purmamarca, the Cerro de los Siete Colores, Maimará, Tilcara, the Pucará de Tilcara, the Paleta del Pintor, Uquía, the Pollera de la Colla and the town of Humahuaca, among other things. Itinerary:
Day 1: Welcome to Salta
Reception and transfer to the hotel. Start your adventure with a warm welcome and free time to explore the charming city.
Day 2: Discover the Wonders of Cafayate
Pick up from the hotel at 6:30 am. We will begin our tour through the picturesque towns of Cerrillos and El Carril, crossing the beautiful Lerma Valley. We will pass through Coronel Moldes and the enigmatic town of Germany before reaching the impressive Quebrada de las Conchas. Here, you can admire natural formations such as the Devil's Throat, the Amphitheater, the Yesera, the Sapo, the Obelisk and the Castles, each with their vibrant colors shaped by the erosion of wind and water. Finally, we will arrive at Cafayate, where we will visit its wineries for an exquisite wine tasting. Return to Salta.
Day 3: Wonders of the Humahuaca Gorge
Early departure along Route 9/34 towards San Salvador de Jujuy. On our way, we will cross unforgettable landscapes such as Yala, Volcán and Tumbaya until we reach Purmamarca, home of the famous "Hill of 7 Colors". We will continue to Maimará to admire the "Pintor's Palette" and then visit the historic Pucará de Tilcara. We will continue towards Huacalera, passing through the Tropic of Capricorn, and we will arrive at Uquía, where you can see the impressive Cuzco Paintings. Finally, we will arrive in Humahuaca to contemplate its Independence Monument before returning to Salta.
Day 4: Urban Exploration in Salta
Departure at 10:00 am. Discover the historical and cultural treasures of Salta, starting at Plaza 9 de Julio. We will see the majestic Cathedral Church, the fascinating Museum of High Mountain Archeology (MAAM), the historic Cabildo of Salta, the San Francisco Church, the San Bernardo Convent and the Güemes Monument. We will end the tour in the vibrant gastronomic area and the charming Plaza Belgrano.
Day 5: Farewell to Salta
Transfer to the Bus Terminal or Salta Airport. Take with you unforgettable memories of this magical experience.

Lo volvería a hacer sin dudarlo. No teníamos idea de la historia de Quebrada de Humahuaca. Lo de Quebrada fue el momento del día. Aprovechamos transporte de llegada y salida desde el Aeropuerto al Hotel en Salta más de lo que pensábamos. Muy bueno para una primera vez en la ciudad. El guía se acordaba del nombre de todos, un detalle que se agradece. Ya lo recomendé a dos amigos que viajan el mes que viene.

Superou o que esperávamos. Passar por Total Comfort já valeu o tour todo. Não tínhamos ideia da história de Colina. Muito bom que incluía traslado de ida e volta dos hotéis centrais de Salta para excursões.

A nice outing without being unforgettable. Purmamarca was a surprise, it was not on our list. Perfect for getting an overview, then going back to what you liked most. Frequency between buses could be better at the later stops. Worth it, knowing the above.

La pasamos bien, lo recomiendo con un par de salvedades. Por el precio que pagamos, la verdad que rinde muchísimo. Se puede hacer tranquilo sin estar en estado físico. Lo único es que la información previa podría ser más clara sobre el punto de encuentro. Vale la pena, sabiendo lo anterior.
