The city of Cafayate is considered the land of the sun and wine. It is located in the Calchaquí Valley, 180 km from the capital of Salta, and you can enjoy one of the most impressive and renowned routes in Northern Argentina.
It will depart from the city of Salta, touring the center and south of the Lerma Valley, to then enter the Quebrada de las Conchas Natural Reserve. A 90 km low cornice road will take you through a narrow valley surrounded by colorful hills, dominated by orange and red. There you will find geoforms carved by Mother Nature such as La Garganta del Diablo, El Amphitheater, Las Ventanas, Los Castillos, La Yesera, El Sapo, etc.
In Cafayate you will have the chance to visit a winery, with tastings of the best wines in the area. Although the region always refers to Torrontés, the place has a large number of hectares devoted to red grapes such as Malbec, Tannat or Cabernet Sauvignon.
After lunch (not included) you will return to Salta by the same route.
During the tour stops are made to walk and take pictures.

Nos fuimos conformes. Los tiempos estaban bien calculados, no se sintió apurado. La frecuencia entre unidades podría ser mejor en las paradas del final. Buena opción, sobre todo si es tu primera visita.

Vale muchísimo más de lo que cuesta. Es una forma muy práctica de ubicarte en la ciudad el primer día. No esperaba que incluyera traslado ida y vuelta desde hoteles céntricos de Salta, un plus. Cinco estrellas bien merecidas.

Recomendable, sabiendo qué esperar. Terminamos con una idea clara de cómo está armada la ciudad. Pagamos bastante menos que otras opciones y la experiencia fue igual de buena. Nos tocó un guía muy amable, aunque el grupo era grande y no llegaba a todos. Una de las paradas estaba cerrada ese día y no lo avisaron.

Terminamos el día hablando de lo bien que había estado. De todo el recorrido, Valle Calchaquíes es lo que más recuerdo. Se notaba que el guía es de la zona, contaba cosas de primera mano. El punto de encuentro estaba bien indicado y fácil de ubicar. De lo mejor que contratamos por internet.

Terminamos o dia comentando como tinha sido bom. O ritmo era confortável, nem corrido nem chato. Fiquei com vontade de mais tempo em Aprecie. Uma das paradas estava fechada naquele dia e não avisaram. Obrigado pelo dia que nos proporcionaram.
