Description
Before becoming a museum in 1793, the Louvre was the main residence of the kings of France. Today, its 73,000 m² of galleries house one of the world’s most extraordinary collections, spanning over 7,000 years of art — from ancient civilizations to the 19th century — divided into eight departments, including Egyptian Antiquities, Greek and Roman Antiquities, Islamic Arts, Paintings, Sculpture, and more.
With your expert guide, you’ll uncover the stories, symbolism, and secrets behind the Louvre’s most iconic works. Admire the enigmatic Mona Lisa, painted by Leonardo da Vinci in 1506; the timeless elegance of the Venus de Milo, one of ancient Greece’s most celebrated sculptures; and Jacques-Louis David’s monumental Coronation of Napoleon, stretching an impressive 10 meters wide.
At the FINAL of your tour, feel free to continue exploring on your own — perhaps enjoy a meal inside the museum or browse the boutique for beautiful reproductions and souvenirs to take home

Does what it promises
Really enjoyable, though there is room for improvement. No long waits at any point. The entrance to the museum (reserved access) was better than I expected. The show held our attention throughout, genuinely high standard. The music was a bit loud for conversation. A good option, especially on a first visit.

Very good
Good value for money. Paris was a surprise, it was not on our list. Great value for money. They gave us plenty of notice about a schedule change. One of the stops was closed that day and nobody mentioned it. A good option, especially on a first visit.

Good value for money. We had no idea about the history of Paris. Well signposted throughout, and staff were attentive. For what is included, the price is more than fair. The audio cut out on a couple of stretches. Worth it, knowing the above.

Buen paseo
Buena elección si es tu primera vez en Paris. El autobús con aire acondicionado vino incluido y se agradece. El horario de regreso se estiró casi una hora más de lo previsto. Recomendable en general.
