Itinerary:
Start the day with a drive along the coastal road, traveling along the Mediterranean Sea.
Drive through the Plain of Armageddon (Megiddo) to the city of Nazareth, with a brief stop at Mount Precipice.
The first stop in Nazareth will be the Church of the Annunciation, the most impressive and spectacular site in the city, considered one of the holiest churches in Christianity. On the ground floor of the church is the Grotto of the Annunciation, which Catholics consider the remains of Mary's childhood home.
Next to the church, visit St. Joseph's Carpentry Shop, believed to be Joseph's carpentry workshop.
From Nazareth, pass through nearby Cana—site of Jesus' first miracle: turning water into wine—to the Sea of ??Galilee.
See the Mount of Beatitudes, where, according to tradition, Jesus delivered the Sermon on the Mount, before arriving in Capernaum, an ancient fishing village on the shores of the Sea of ??Galilee that was the center of Jesus' messianic work. Known as "his city," he spent much of his life here, healing the sick, preaching in the synagogue, and performing miracles.
Next to the shore, visit Tabgha and the church commemorating the miracle of the Multiplication of the Loaves and Fishes.
Continue through Tiberias, named after the Roman emperor, to the baptism site in the Jordan River: Yardenit.
At the FINAL of the day, return to the pickup point, passing Mount Tabor, the site of the Transfiguration en route.

Nos gustó bastante, con un par de detalles menores. Mar da Galileia fue una sorpresa, no estaba en nuestros planes. Buen manejo del grupo por parte del guía. Que venga con tarjeta de asistencia médica local hace toda la diferencia. El ritmo era cómodo, ni corriendo ni aburrido. El único detalle fue que faltó agua disponible, sobre todo con el calor.

Salimos encantados. Nos acompañó un guía muy cálido, que se tomó el tiempo de charlar con cada uno. Lo de entradas es un acierto. Volveríamos a contratarlo.

It flew by and we wanted more. We had no idea about the history of Galilea. The transfers to and from major hotels in Jerusalem detail adds a lot. We paid noticeably less than other options and the experience was just as good. If we come back to Jerusalem, we will do it again.

We enjoyed it a lot, with a couple of small niggles. The guide handled the group well. The Galilea area at night is something else. One detail: the seats are not the most comfortable on a long run.

The kind of thing you still remember years later. The room at Mar da Galileia Lisbon is a gem in itself. Great guide, attentive to the whole group and endlessly patient. If only every tour were run like this.
