On Friday, October 13, 1972, a Fairchild 227 plane with 45 people on board crashes in the Andes. Thus begins one of the most incredible survival stories of mankind.
The Uruguayan group of young Rugby players, their friends and families, was forced to undertake a titanic battle against adversity.
The museum is dedicated to the 45 people who were on board that October 1972 flight and especially to those 29 who did not return. It also pretends to be a tribute to the 16 compatriots who "came back to life", after 72 long and hellish days of hunger, pain, suffering, despair ... and hope for a tomorrow.
Special and deserved highlight is given to the figure of the arriero Sergio Catalán for his noble and selfless attitude.

Recomendo, sabendo o que esperar. De todo o roteiro, Fuente é o que mais lembro. Ótimo custo benefício. Aprendemos mais sobre a cidade em algumas horas do que lendo três guias. O ponto de saída precisa de melhor sinalização, custamos para achar. Com esses detalhes ajustados seria nota 10.

Does what it promises
I would do it again, though I would change a couple of things. Compared with doing it yourself, it works out well. We had no idea about the history of Fuente. Great that ticket to Andes Museum was included. It dragged a little through the middle section. I would do it again anyway.

De lo mejor que hicimos en el viaje. El almuerzo vale por sí solo. Sale más que hacerlo suelto, pero te ahorra toda la organización. Volveríamos a contratarlo.

Buena experiencia
Nos fuimos conformes. Solo por Fuente vale la pena el paseo. Nos sirvió para decidir a dónde volver el resto de la semana. El guía era muy simpático, aunque se apuraba un poco en algunas explicaciones. Una de las paradas estaba cerrada ese día y no lo avisaron. Buena experiencia dentro de todo.

Nos divertimos, recomendo com uma ou outra ressalva. Fuente ficou em todas as nossas fotos. A equipe em terra foi atenciosa desde o primeiro contato. O preço é honesto pelo que se recebe. Algumas paradas precisam de mais sombra para esperar. Com esses detalhes ajustados seria nota 10.

The visit to the Andes Museum is from Monday to Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 17:00hs and Saturdays from 10:00hs. to 15:00hs. Excluding holidays: 1 January, 1 May and 25 December. It lasts 1 hour.
Passengers must arrive at Bar Facal at 12:00. You can walk from one place to the other, both are located in the dowtown. You can do both on the same day or on two different days.
