Description
Guided tour in Montevideo in a comfortable air conditioned micro-bus, with stops to take photos in the most important places of Montevideo history. We will visit Plaza Independencia where the citadel's door is located, the Solis Theater, the Executive Tower, the Palacio Salvo and the monument to the Uruguayan hero Jose Gervasio Artigas. We will visit part of the main avenue (18 de Julio) to go to the Palacio Legislativo. We will visit the Mercado Agricola which operates within a historic building and offers a large amount of local products. The park Jose Battle y Ordonez will be the next stop of the tours, in this place we will see the Monument to La Carreta, and NEXT continue along the Montevideo waterfront from Pocitos to Carrasco. At the FINAL we return to the hotels.
FULL DAY COLONIA DEL SACRAMENTO: Colonia del Sacramento (declared a World Heritage site by UNESCO). Colonia was founded by the Portuguese Empire more than 300 years ago, and it was the bone of contention among Portugal and Spain until 1777, when the Treaty of San Ildefonso left Colonia in the hands of the Spanish Monarchy. Go over Calle de los Suspiros, Iglesia del Santísimo Sacramento (church), Bastión de San Pedro, Polvorín, the Lighthouse, Museos Español y Portugués (museums), Museo del Azulejo, etc. (entrance tickets are not included). Go across Rambla Costanera (coastal boardwalk), Real de San Carlos and its old Plaza de Toros, St Benito´s Chapel, Port. Return downtown and have free time to go over Barrio Histórico and its charming streets. Lunch (optional). At the appointed time return to the hotel.
The package also includes transfer of arrival and departure from the Montevideo Airport to the city in Montevideo.

Nada que reprochar, todo salió como estaba planteado. El guía contaba historias que no están en ninguna guía de viaje. Lo de traslado compartido de ida y vuelta al Aeropuerto de Carrasco es un acierto. Si volvemos a Montevideo, lo repetimos.

Se pasó volando y nos quedamos con ganas de más. Muy bueno que incluyera cITY TOUR Montevideo. Aprendimos más de la ciudad en unas horas que leyendo tres guías. El guía nos dio recomendaciones de dónde comer que resultaron buenísimas. Muy recomendable para cualquier edad.

Se pasó volando y nos quedamos con ganas de más. Sale más que hacerlo suelto, pero te ahorra toda la organización. La parada en Punta Carretas fue lo que más nos gustó. El ritmo era cómodo, ni corriendo ni aburrido. Cinco estrellas bien merecidas.

Una experiencia redonda. De todo el recorrido, Plaza Independencia es lo que más recuerdo. Pagamos bastante menos que otras opciones y la experiencia fue igual de buena. Volveríamos a contratarlo.

Faria de novo sem pensar duas vezes. A parada em Shopping Punta Carretas foi o que mais gostamos. O guia falava os dois idiomas do grupo sem dificuldade. Avisaram de uma mudança de horário com bastante antecedência.

For the transfer in / out we need the data of your arrival and departure flight and we will be waiting for you on the arrival of your flight.
For the Full day Colonia we will pick up you at the hotel between 08:14 and 08:45 depending on the hotel, we will confirm by mail or telephone.
For the city tour we will pick up you at 01:30pm or 08:00am.
