Surrounded by the Basilica’s beautiful golden mosaics and marble inlays, our professional guide will take us along the history and the special features of this unique masterpiece of byzantine art.
Then, discover Venice as locals have been doing since far back in time, sliding among the narrow canals and admiring the masterpiece of architectures, water reflections and peace away from the crowded alleys.
During this ride, you will have the chance to admire some among Venice's most famous and beautiful sites seen from the water, a rare sight which can be seen only on a gondola. And be ready for the last part of the ride, because it is the one that sees the gondola flowing into the Grand Canal, revealing breathtaking views over the most famous canal of Venice and over the Salute Church.

We came away delighted. The driver drove carefully the whole way. Seeing a bit of Venecia Teniente Luis Candelaria on the way was a bonus. Very tight on timings. They dropped us at Venecia Teniente Luis Candelaria with no detours. We paid noticeably less than other options and the experience was just as good.

Amazing day
The kind of thing you still remember years later. Great for a first visit to the city. 25/30 min. shared gondola ride was a surprise, it was not on our list. The guide knew exactly what to include, it never dragged. The departure point needs better signage, we struggled to find it.

The gondola ride will be at 3.00 pm, so customers will have a 3 hour-break approx. between the Basilica part and the gondola.
* During high season, queuing might be expected at the entrance of St. Mark's Basilica.
* Wear appropriate clothes to enter the Basilica (no bare knees or shoulders)
* Please note that it is a shared gondola (up to 5 people for each gondola)
* Please note that no refund will be accepted for no shows or late arrivals. The tour will take place also with rain, in the event of exceptional high tide it might be cancelled and refund will be provided.
* Please be aware that starting from April 25th and on certain dates, registration and payment of an access contribution will be necessary to visit the city of Venice.
