Overall, you will have about one hour of free time on the island to browse the shops and buy items in the many artistic glass stores.
Next, you will head to Burano, famous for its ancient lace-making tradition and its colorful houses: here you will have about two hours of free time to choose a nice place for lunch, taste typical Venetian aperitifs, or enjoy an ice cream in one of the island’s many cafés. By asking our staff on the boat, you will receive a ticket for free entry to the Lace Museum of Burano. (available only in March, closed on Mondays.
From Burano, you will finally move to Torcello, the oldest lagoon settlement: here you will have about one hour to explore the island independently, with the possibility to visit the Basilica of Santa Maria Assunta and admire its famous Veneto-Byzantine mosaics (entry ticket not included).
