Description
Halfway there, we will make a strategic stop so you can stretch out and enjoy the first panoramic views. Upon arriving at El Chaltén, you will have a brief rest before an expert trekking guide joins you, who will accompany the group during the walk, guaranteeing a safe and enriching experience.
The starting point of the trail is located at the Puente del Río Eléctrico, just 14 kilometers from El Chaltén. There you will receive an individual meal before starting the tour. In the first section, a quiet 6.3 km walk in approximately an hour and a half, will take you to the Piedras Blancas Viewpoint, where you will witness the majesty of the glacier of the same name.
From here, you will have two options to continue:
Group 2: If you prefer a more relaxed walk, you will head with one of the guides to the charming Capri Lagoon, a true natural oasis with spectacular views of the Fitz Roy. Here you will enjoy lunch surrounded by unique landscapes before beginning the descent to El Chaltén.
Group 1: If you are looking for a challenge, you will continue towards the famous Laguna de los Tres. This most demanding section, with an ascent of 430 meters in almost 3 km, will reward you with unforgettable views as you approach the heart of the mountains. Upon arrival, you will be greeted by the impressive Fitz Roy massif reflected in the turquoise waters of the lagoon. It is the perfect place to have lunch, take photographs and be amazed by the immensity of nature.
After exploring and enjoying this magical corner, both groups will meet again at Camp Poincenot to begin the return journey, passing through Capri Lagoon. Finally, our minibus will take you back to El Calafate.

Important
Entrance to Los Glaciares National Park is not included. Its approximate value is $45,000 and is paid upon entry. They do not accept Mastercard cards, you can pay in cash or Visa card in Argentine pesos when you arrive at the Park.
Children under 10 years old and over 55 years old cannot carry out this activity, without exception. Pregnant women or people with reduced mobility, arthritis, prostheses, knee or small finger problems, overweight, heart problems, or recent surgery cannot carry out the activity.
It is recommended to bring: a bottle of cold water, a small backpack, a spare pair of socks, gloves and a hat, a flashlight or cell phone with a battery in case it gets dark, shoes with non-smooth soles. Waterproof trekking boots, trekking poles and a spare change of clothes are suggested.
The excursion is not canceled due to bad weather, but depending on the weather conditions that occur during the walk, it will be at the guide's discretion whether to continue with the section to Laguna de los 3 or return via Laguna Capri.
Some hotels in the city are not included in our pickup itinerary. If this is the case, we will contact you to indicate the closest hotel to which you should go so that we can pick you up for the excursion. You must wait for your guide in the lobby of the indicated hotel.
In order to confirm the reservation we need you to send us the following information about all the passengers who will take the tour: Passport Number, Nationality, Date of Birth, Hotel where you will be staying.
