Description
An expression of the timeless aspect of Moroccan life, the ramparts dominate Marrakech with their characteristic red stone walls and superb gates. Over 6 miles long, the city ramparts are among Marrakech's main attractions. Well-preserved with a height ranging from approximately 25 to 32 feet, ten gates pierce the wall as entry points. The most well-known of these gates is Bab Khemis. Several gates have also been models for other Moroccan cities.

Good option
Really enjoyable, though there is room for improvement. The driver pointed things out all the way to Barouche Along Marrakech's Ramparts. Far less stressful than haggling for a taxi outside the airport. The driver did not speak our language, though we managed. A good option, especially on a first visit.

A good pick if it is your first time in Marrakech. Barouche Along Marrakech's Ramparts was the moment of the day. Do it early, fewer people and much better light. The meeting point was well signed and easy to find. If anything, the free time felt short at some stops. I do recommend it, with the caveats above.

Hotel pickup is included for hotels centrally located in Marrakech. Please make sure you are at the reception at least 30 minutes before scheduled departure time. For all other customers outside the hotel pickup area, departure point *is in front of Grayline office ( Residence Yasmine, Majorelle, Boulevard Moulay Abdlah, Mag n 5, Marrakech). Please be at the departure point at least 30 minutes before scheduled departure time
Please make sure you have a printed voucher with you and present it to our staff at the departure point.
A valid passport or other identify card is required.
