With 19 hectares of protected landscape and surrounded by the rich biodiversity of the Iguazú National Park, every corner of the refuge will immerse you in nature, with ancient trees that reach 30 meters in height. La Aripuca: Monument to Nature
Inspired by a traditional Guaraní trap, La Aripuca is an imposing construction 17 meters high and 500,000 kg, assembled with 30 species of rescued native trees, many of them centenary. This family eco-tourism project seeks to raise awareness about the importance of our natural resources, transforming trees recovered from sawmills and farms into a symbol of life and preservation. Here you can taste unique flavors such as yerba mate ice cream, try homemade jams, and discover carefully made crafts, all in a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

Not to be missed
We booked this on a whim and it ended up being our favourite day. The round-trip transfers from hotels in Puerto Iguazu (Argentine side) is worth it on its own. Going through Güira Oga made the whole tour worth it. I would have liked a little longer at the last stop. Highly recommended.

Mucho mejor de lo que imaginaba. Aripuca fue una sorpresa, no estaba en nuestros planes. El guía manejaba los dos idiomas del grupo sin problema. Pagamos bastante menos que otras opciones y la experiencia fue igual de buena. Salió todo en horario, sin sobresaltos. Muy recomendable para cualquier edad.
