Midnight strikes, the clocks all chime a glass slipper leads Prince Charming to a happy ever after Christmas wedding like no other.
Out in the gardens, tree-tops glisten and waterfalls shimmer. With new surprises around every corner, this spectacular trail boasting more than a million lights, has everything you need for an unforgettable adventure immersed in seasonal song. Itâs a shared experience with friends and family that includes a glimpse of Father Christmas himself.
Take your Christmas experience to new heights on our festive Observation Wheel. Enjoy breath-taking views of the Palace and Christmas Market, all dressed in their seasonal best. Soak up the festive atmosphere and tuck into seasonal showstoppers and sweet treats, grab a mulled wine or hot chocolate beside the covered Ice Rink and explore our Christmas Market. Featured in the top 10 of best UK seasonal markets year after year, it will once again be filled with a variety of hand- picked, irresistible gifts, uniquely made by a range of designers and crafts people.
If you choose Cinderella in the Palace + Illumination trail, please select your preferred Cinderella entry time. Your Illuminated trail entry will be automatically reserved 60 minutes later.

Food and Drink: available in the courtyards as well as two cafe's and restaurant serving a range of dishes.
A family ticket includes 2 adult tickets + 2 child tickets.
Getting Here: Public Transport: Nearest bus stop is opposite the main gates. Nearest railway stations are Oxford (9.1 miles), Oxford Parkway (6.2 miles) and Long Hanborough (3 miles). Step-free access to the first courtyard, which is then gravel and cobbles through to the courtyards.
Car Parking: Parking on the day is subject to availability and costs £12.00. Accessible parking available at Hensington main car park. Please inform staff at the kiosks. Distance to entrance is 246 meters.
Taxi/Drop-off Area: What3Words. Please inform a member of staff at the kiosk, who will direct you to the nearest vehicle drop-off point.
Accessibility: The Illuminated Trail is approximately 2.98km and follows a natural route with varying gradients and uneven surfaces. Whilst every effort is made to make the trail accessible, some areas may be more challenging during adverse weather conditions. Additional stewards will be available to assist where required.

Facilities: Toilets, accessible toilets and baby changing facilities are available throughout the event. Please note there are no toilets inside the Palace, and not all facilities are open throughout the day and evening.

Cancellations: What happens if the Palace or Trail is cancelled?âââââ
If we are forced to cancel, the decision will be taken as early as possible on the day once the team have been able to fully assess the situation. You will be informed of cancellation via SMS Text Message and will also be sent an email outlining the options available to you.
