Your journey begins travelling to the coast to board a ferry bound for the enchanting island of Miyajima. Known for its serene atmosphere and stunning natural surroundings, the island is home to the famous Itsukushima Shrine, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Its renowned 'floating' torii gate, which appears to emerge from the water at high tide, is one of the most iconic sights in Japan.

Good option
We enjoyed it a lot, with a couple of small niggles. Cúpula da Bomba Atômica blew us away, we were not expecting that. The pre booking support answered all our questions clearly. Compared with doing it yourself, it works out well. What I liked least was the final stop, it felt rushed. A good option, especially on a first visit.
