Enjoy an authentic Andean experience with a horseback riding tour through the landscapes of Cotopaxi National Park. Feel the freedom of the páramo (high-altitude Andean grasslands) as you ride among mountains, volcanoes, and lagoons, accompanied by local guides who will share the traditions and secrets of Andean life.

Itinerary:

Early morning departure from Quito. Pick-up from 6:00 am.

Scenic drive along the Avenue of the Volcanoes towards Cotopaxi National Park.

Arrival at a typical Andean hacienda. Brief introduction and preparation for the horseback ride, including safety instructions and horse handling.

Start of the horseback ride. Ride along the páramo trails with views of the majestic Cotopaxi Volcano and Limpiopungo Lagoon.

Free time for photos and lunch en route (not included).

Return to Quito in the afternoon.

Amazing day

Highly recommended, no reservations. The scenery at Cotopaxi National Park does not fit in a photo. The guide answered even the oddest questions with real detail. Compared with doing it yourself, it works out well. An experience worth every minute.
