Since 1886, the Statue of Liberty has welcomed millions of visitors to New York City and across the United States. You'll have the opportunity to see it up close and learn the history behind this international symbol, including how it came to be on Liberty Island.
The tour includes reserved priority access to the islands, a professional New York-licensed guide who will accompany you throughout the tour of both islands, access to the Statue of Liberty Museum and the National Immigration Museum on Ellis Island.
At Ellis Island, you will learn about the journey of millions of immigrants who passed through this island between 1892 and 1924, in search of a better life in the United States.
Due to local regulations, your guide may not be able to accompany you inside the museums. However, they will provide a full explanation of what you will find inside.
On days with higher visitor traffic, such as holidays, there may be long lines to enter the ferry, the monument and the museums.

Really enjoyable, though there is room for improvement. Ellis Island alone makes the trip worthwhile. We used ferry Tickets the whole time and it worked perfectly. The audio cut out on a couple of stretches. Nothing serious, but worth knowing before you book.
