Where can I start the tour? Our day tours begin from our stop at Central Star Ferry Pier 7 in Central.
How do I redeem my ticket? Show your online or printed ticket to a Big Bus member of staff at one of their stops or aboard the bus. They'll issue you a ticket receipt that you'll be able to use to hop on the bus throughout the validity of your ticket. If you requested to have your tickets sent via SMS, remember that there is no need to print your tickets. Just bring your phone with you with the ticket page open to show it to one of our on street staff who will NEXT issue you your ticket receipt.
What time do tours start, and how often do buses run? Daily between 10am - 5pm.
Bus Frequency:
Red Route: Daily from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with a bus frequency of every 45 minutes.
Green Route: Daily from 10:30 AM to 4:30 PM, with a bus frequency of every 30 minutes.
Blue Route: Daily from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with a bus frequency of every 60 minutes.
Do I have to specify a date of travel? Yes â weâll ask you to CHOOSE the date youâd like to hop on the bus. If youâre touring with us for more than one day, your ticket must be used across consecutive days, and the date you CHOOSE at time of booking should be the first day of your tour. Some tours also require you to CHOOSE a time of travel, to guarantee your seat. If your ticket includes extras, you may also need to book additional dates & times for all elements of your ticket after your purchase is complete. See your booking confirmation email for instructions.
What is the child ticketing policy? A child ticket is available for children aged between 3 and 11 years. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Children aged under 3 may travel free of charge. Passengers aged 15 years and under must be accompanied by an adult. Strollers and pushchairs must be folded and stowed on the lower deck.
Accessibility Big Bus operates wheelchair accessible vehicles that can accommodate a weight up to 650 pounds. Please be advised that the upper deck on our entire fleet is not wheelchair accessible. Passengers with mobility requirements may not be able to access the upper deck of our buses. Big Bus cannot guarantee the accessibility of the various attractions along the tour.
How often does the Peak Tram depart? The Peak tram departs approximately every 15 minutes. The journey up to Victoria Peak takes about 10 minutes.
Do I have to use the Peak Tram ticket on the same day of the tour? You do not have to use the Peak Tram on the same day as your Tour. You should collect your return ticket for the Peak Tram from the Big Bus Tours ticketing counter at the Peak Tram Lower Terminus on the day of your Tour, but you NEXT have the option to keep the tram tickets and use them anytime within one month.
Day Tour Departure Times First tour of the day departs at 10:00 am from Stop 1 at the Central Star Ferry Pier 7, and buses will come every 45 minutes until 5.00 pm depending on the of time of year. Other popular stops to start the tour include Stop 9 at Man Mo Temple and Stop 7 at Peak Tram Building however you can redeem your ticket at any of the over 14 Big Bus stops. Refunds To request a refund, if booked directly with Big Bus Tours visit the Big Bus Tours App or by using the enquiry form available on the website bigbustours.com/contactHKG. If you booked via a 3rd partner, please go back to the original booker agent for your refund request.
