The Cloister is considered a jewel of Romanesque sculpture, one of the most important in Europe, and one of the best preserved. The decoration of its 144 unique capitals stands out. The Church is a privileged place to be able to clearly observe the transition from Romanesque to Gothic.
The audio guide has two routes:
"Feel the voice of the Monastery" a tour of the monumental complex where you will discover the history and architecture of the most powerful monastic complex in the county of Barcelona. You will enter the Church and enjoy its treasures and the Romanesque, Gothic and Baroque artistic styles.
"The Book of Medieval Stone" a tour of the capitals of the Cloister: On the other hand, the jewel in the crown is undoubtedly the Romanesque cloister. With the tour you will be able to interpret the meaning of 31 selected capitals. As if they were the pages of a book, we will tell you stories full of symbolism, customs of the Benedictine monks and some of the most important passages in the Bible, both from the Old Testament and from the life of Jesus.

Un buen paseo, sin llegar a ser inolvidable. Lo de Mosteiro de Sant Cugat fue el momento del día. Muy bueno para una primera vez en la ciudad. Nos atendieron por WhatsApp para una duda y respondieron en minutos. Faltó un baño disponible en una parte del recorrido. Buena opción, sobre todo si es tu primera visita.

Closed: Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays, except holidays.
