Marvel at the beautiful street art of the Selarón Steps (Escadaria Selarón), a massive mosaic masterpiece by Chilean artist Jorge Selarón. He began decorating the steps in the early 1990s, and the 250 steps have since become a landmark and an icon of Rio.
Stop at the Metropolitan Cathedral of Rio de Janeiro to admire the biblical scenes depicted in its stained-glass windows, following a break for an all-you-can-eat buffet lunch (lunch included if the corresponding option is selected).
With your energy renewed, there is one more stop. Head to the Urca neighborhood and marvel at the beauty of Sugarloaf Mountain and the cable car that takes you to the summit. Una de las mejores cosas que hicimos en Rio de Janeiro. Lo de guía de turismo (portugués/español) estuvo muy bien pensado. El personal de tierra fue amable desde el primer contacto. Lo de Catedral Metropolitana fue el broche del día. Si están por Rio de Janeiro, no se lo pierdan.

Worth doing, with a few things to polish. The setting disconnects you completely. Compared with doing it yourself, it works out well. The guide was fine, though the microphone kept cutting out. Sambadrome feels like another planet. Lunch was basic for a day that long. Worth it, knowing the above.
