Description
Built in the early 20th century and commissioned by José C. Paz—founder of the *La Prensa* newspaper and Argentine ambassador to Paris from 1885 to 1893—it is the country's largest private residence. It is also one of the few homes in Buenos Aires to bear the title of "Palace," a distinction earned through the design and layout of its interior reception rooms. Originally designed as a family home, the structure spans four floors and 140 rooms, covering a total area of 12,000 square meters.
A prime example of Beaux-Arts architecture, the building was designed by the renowned French architect Louis-Marie Henri Sortais, while the construction was overseen by the distinguished Argentine architect and engineer Carlos Agote.
After being inhabited by the Paz family for only a short time, the building became the headquarters of the Military Circle (*Círculo Militar*), the National Military Library, and the National Arms Museum in 1938.

Saímos satisfeitos. Pelo preço que pagamos, rende muito. Os drinks incluídos eram bem básicos. Recomendo mesmo assim.

Superou o que esperávamos. O detalhe do 1 Café ou Chá à sua escolha somou muito. Pelo que inclui, o preço é mais que justo. O guia contava histórias que não estão em nenhum guia de viagem. As mesas ficam um pouco juntas. Recomendo para qualquer idade.

Estuvo bueno, con altibajos. El lugar en Locación Emblemática tiene una ambientación hermosa. Si lo comparás con hacerlo por tu cuenta, conviene. Faltó un baño disponible en una parte del recorrido. Igual lo volvería a hacer.

Breakfast or Aternoon Snack at Croque Madame is available at the following times: every day from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. You can show up at any time within this time slot (please choose 9:00 a.m. to show up in the morning, or 4:00 p.m. to show up in the afternoon). Tea may be enjoyed either in the garden or in the indoor dining area.
Important: It is prohibited to enter the Paz Palace with shorts, shorts, Bermuda shorts, flip flops and sandals. If you do not show up with long pants and closed-toe shoes, you will not be allowed entry.
