Description

Our trip will begin in the lovely mountain town of Huaraz. From there, we will travel to the beautiful Quebrada Llaca (4,200m). Afterwards, we will go to the Vallunaraju Base Camp, where we will spend the night. On the following day, we will climb to the summit of the peak. From the summit, you can enjoy some magnificent views of other nearby peaks. After youve soaked in the great views, we will then return to base camp and then the Quebrada Llaca and then Huaraz.
Participants on this trip should have some prior climbing experience. You should also be in good physical condition.

Exceeded expectations

Much better than I had imagined. The insurance arrived exactly when we needed it. The walk up to Day High-Altitude Adventure was worth every step. We got a clear day at Huaraz and that was pure luck. More accessible than it looks, you do not need to be fit.

Muy buena experiencia en general. Buena logística, se ve que lo hacen todos los días. Lo de comida a la salida de Huaraz es un acierto. Terminamos con una idea clara de cómo está armada la ciudad. Algunas paradas necesitan más sombra para esperar. Se puede mejorar, pero no me arrepiento de haberlo hecho.

Does what it promises

We had a good time, recommended with a caveat or two. The guide spoke very fast and it was easy to lose the thread. The stop at Vallunaraju was our favourite. Some stops need more shade while you wait. Recommended overall.
