Park Güell was originally meant to be a gated community for Barcelona’s wealthy inhabitants; Gaudí tapped into all aspects of his creative and architectural genius to design the park and residential community. But the original idea didn’t catch on with the Barcelonians, which means we now have the opportunity to experience this public work - showing Gaudí at his most creative.
Skip the Line into the Monumental Zone
Upon arriving, your guide will give you a comprehensive guided tour of the park before taking you to the Monumental Zone. Here, you’ll skip the line and enter to see the famous Serpentine Bench and mosaic salamander, ‘El Drac’.
