Built in the early 20th century by order of José C. Paz, founder of the newspaper La Prensa and Argentine ambassador to Paris from 1885 to 1893, it is the largest private residence in the country and one of the few residences in Buenos Aires to bear the title of Palace, given this designation due to the design and layout of its interior rooms. It was designed as a family home, with four floors, 140 rooms, and a total covered area of 12,000 m2.
A reflection of Beaux-Arts architecture, its architect was the prestigious Frenchman Louis-Marie Henri Sortais, and the construction was supervised by the prestigious Argentine architect and engineer Carlos Agote.
After being briefly inhabited by the Paz family, in 1938 it became the headquarters of the Military Circle, the National Military Library, and the National Weapons Museum.

Starter (choice of): Spinach and Swiss chard fritters with aioli, or Ossobuco empanada with yasgua sauce.
Main course (choice of): Pumpkin and brie risotto, or Penne rigate with pesto, bocconcini, and sun-dried tomatoes, or Breaded beef (peceto) with mixed greens, cherry tomatoes, and parmesan, or Caesar salad with chicken, mixed greens, croutons, parmesan cheese, crispy bacon, and Caesar dressing.
Dessert (choice of): Pancakes with dulce de leche, or one scoop of ice cream (vanilla or chocolate).
Beverages: Still or sparkling water, soft drink, lemonade, a glass of Malbec or Chardonnay wine, or Ramazzotti aperitif.
Kids Menu:
Starter: Rustic potatoes with four-cheese sauce.
Main course: Penne with rosé sauce or breaded beef (peceto) with French fries.
Dessert: One scoop of ice cream (chocolate or vanilla).

Vale a pena, com alguns ajustes. O lugar em Desfrute tem uma ambientação linda. O preço é honesto pelo que se recebe. A ambientação transporta, dá para ver o cuidado nos detalhes. Guia muito gentil, mas o grupo era grande e não dava conta de todos. Demoraram para trazer as bebidas no início. Recomendo mesmo assim.

Good, with ups and downs. The return time was kept to the minute. The live musicians take the evening up a level. We stayed on walking around Beaux after dinner. The only miss was no water available, especially in that heat. Worth it, knowing the above.

Es de esas cosas que uno recuerda años después. La zona de Locación Emblemática de noche es otra cosa. La atención previa a la reserva fue muy clara con todas nuestras dudas. Los tragos incluidos eran bastante básicos. Lo recomiendo sin dudar.

Almost perfect
Came away with a good impression. The 3-course lunch (starter, main and dessert) was better than I expected. The Palace area at night is something else. The music was a bit loud for conversation.

Lunch at Croque Madame is available from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM. You can arrive at any time during this time slot.
The lunch service is provided exclusively in the second-floor dining area.
