Tamarindo Beach: Great swimming, surf, fishing, and water sports during the day, buzzing nightlife come sunset! The area and surrounding beaches offer a variety of activities for those who want to spend their time in the sand and the sun. Just north of Tamarindo Beach, Grande Beach is a quieter beach known for the Leatherback Sea Turtles that come to lay their eggs. Between November and April, the largest of all living sea turtles dig meter-deep pits and bury their eggs before returning to the sea. These giants can be observed at night as they visit the beach. Langosta Beach, just south of Tamarindo, is known for its white sand, relaxed atmosphere and absence of development. This beach can feel totally secluded at times, with beautiful sunsets and fascinating tidal pools, a popular beach for families!
San José City: San José is a contrasted city with exhilarating expressions of history, traditions, art and architecture. You can discover the Costa Rican culture heritage and traditions, walk its streets and feel the rush of this bustle but interesting city.

A real pleasure

Best day of our stay in San Jose. If you are into photography, bring spare batteries. Nice touch including ACCOMMODATION OPTIONS. If only every tour were run like this.

Un buen paseo, sin llegar a ser inolvidable. Aprovechamos COMIDAS: 4 desayunos más de lo que pensábamos. Nos sirvió para decidir a dónde volver el resto de la semana. La frecuencia entre unidades podría ser mejor en las paradas del final. Con esos detalles arreglados sería un 10.

We had a good time, recommended with a caveat or two. Much appreciated that MEALS:4 Breakfasts is included. They gave us plenty of notice about a schedule change. The wifi they advertised did not work. I would do it again anyway.

Solid choice

We left satisfied. We paid noticeably less than other options and the experience was just as good. We took loads of photos, the route hits all the right spots. Very tight on timings. We used day 2-3 Tamarindo the whole time and it worked perfectly. It dragged a little through the middle section. There is room to improve, but no regrets.

Muy bueno

Vale la pena, con algunos detalles a pulir. Se respetó al minuto el horario de regreso. No es lo más barato, pero se justifica. Usamos COMIDAS: 4 desayunos todo el tiempo y funcionó perfecto. Algunas paradas necesitan más sombra para esperar. Se puede mejorar, pero no me arrepiento de haberlo hecho.

Lo mejor del viaje

Lo elegimos por las fotos y resultó incluso mejor en persona. Se puede ir tranquilo con gente mayor, todo muy cómodo. El guía nos avisó dónde valía la pena parar a sacar fotos. Si están por San Jose, no se lo pierdan.
