During this journey you will visit the National Theater, also known as The jewel of San José, a masterpiece in art and architecture built by Costa Ricans and completed in 1897. Then visit the Museum of Gold , NEXT the Central Market, place full of the Costa Rican cultural heritage and traditions, where you will be able to browse and buy some local art crafts. You will also visit the Metropolitan Cathedral. As we travel around the city, we will point you out several historically important or main buildings in our city, for example The Costa Rica University, The Old Train Station, The National Liquor Factory, The National Supreme Election Bureau, the Asamblea Legislativa, The Metallic Building, some parks and various sites of interest. This will be an introduction to our Capital City, and information about our economy, cultural, politics, religion and general current events. Also, we will visit an Art Gallery, where you will be able to get some souvenirs to take back home.
We will take a walking tour through the historic National Theater. Completed in 1897, the theater is a masterpiece in art and architecture.

A wonderful experience

Could not have gone better. Slick logistics, clearly done every day. We got more out of bilingual guide (English/Spanish) than we expected. If only every tour were run like this.

Muito felizes com a escolha. Avisaram de uma mudança de horário com bastante antecedência. Avisamos que tinha um vegetariano no grupo e resolveram sem problema. O Guia bilíngue (inglês/espanhol) foi muito bem vindo. Recomendaria a qualquer um que visite Buenos Aires.

Nice outing

Good, with ups and downs. Great for a first visit to the city. San Jose Market was a surprise, it was not on our list. Great that entrance to Pre-Columbian Gold Museum and National Theater was included. One of the stops was closed that day and nobody mentioned it. Sort those details and it is a ten.

Nice outing

Recommended, as long as you know what to expect. Not the cheapest, but justified. Good guide, polite and helpful. Great that entrance to Pre-Columbian Gold Museum and National Theater was included. Drinks at the venue are wildly overpriced. Recommended overall.
