The current exhibition holds more than 1.000 paintings of four different centuries. Given that for a first time visitor this can be overwhelming, let your guide show you around the site and learn about some of the most important works and its backstories.
Did you know the royal collection represents the museum’s foundation? Once your guided tour finishes you can stay inside the museum for as long as you wish. Remember your ticket is valid for the day.

Museu do Prado quedó en todas nuestras fotos.

Important: it is possible that, due to being on loan for an exhibition, some of the paintings in our program may not be available on the day of the visit even though they belong to the museum's permanent collection. If this were the case, it would be replaced by another of similar artistic value.
This activity/excursion has a maximum of 30 people per guide.
The high number of visitors or security protocols may result in delays in skip the line access.
