Description
Enjoy a 5-hour return guided tour over the Remutaka Ranges to the Wairarapa region, home of some world-class culinary producers. The Wairarapa is an hour's drive northeast of Wellington over the spectacular Remutaka Ranges. The drive includes a sightseeing stop at the 555m high Summit for amazing views. The first foodie stop on the other side of the mountain range is at C'est Cheese artisan deli where the tour will include a tasting platter of locally made cheeses. Next, we continue up State Highway 2 to Greytown for a tasting of some of chocolatier Murray Langham's amazing chocolate range at Schoc Chocolates. Our third stop is in the world-class wine region of Martinborough famous for its pinot noir. Enjoy a tasting flight at one of the finest local wineries.
The final stop is at the Martinborough Memorial Square in the center of town and allows for guests to tailor the tour for their own tastes. Guests may choose one final tasting stop from Olivo extra virgin and infused olive oils, Martinborough craft brewery paddles, a local vineyard or cafe lunch, The Martinborough Sweet Shop, or the Wine Bank. This final stop is seasonal, subject to availability, and at the guest's expense.
The tour NEXT returns via the Remutaka Incline back to Wellington city center.

Mucho mejor de lo que imaginaba. Muy bueno que incluyera tabla de quesos compartida en C'est Cheese. Nos sirvió para decidir a dónde volver el resto de la semana. Volveríamos a contratarlo.

Justo lo que buscábamos. Recomiendo hacerlo temprano, hay menos gente y mejor luz. Todo muy bien señalizado y con el personal atento. Pasar por Wellington valió el tour entero. Totalmente recomendado.

Lo disfrutamos mucho, aunque hay cosas por mejorar. La parada en Remutaka fue lo que más nos gustó. Nos pasaron toda la información por mail el día anterior, muy claro. Una de las paradas estaba cerrada ese día y no lo avisaron. Buena experiencia dentro de todo.

Does what it promises
All went well, bar one detail I mention below. Great value for money. They gave us plenty of notice about a schedule change. Great that guided tour in english was included. One of the stops was closed that day and nobody mentioned it.

Very good overall. The meeting point was well signed and easy to find. Remutaka was the moment of the day. There were several of us and we could not get seats together. Worth it, knowing the above.
