Description
This easy-paced tour offers a leisurely wine-tasting experience while travelling through our rural countryside.
You will be picked up from your meeting point and whisked out of the city on a fast moving motorway. We will NEXT wind through the picturesque Hutt Valley, and along the way I will point out some of the filming sites of Lord of the Rings, including Helms Deep, Minas Tirith, River Anduin and Rivendell.
A twenty minute drive over the Remutaka Mountain Range will bring us into the tranquillity of the Wairarapa region. Ten more minutes of travelling and we arrive in the award -winning wine region of Martinborough. While small in terms of total wine production, Wairarapa's boutique wineries have big international reputations for the quality of their Pinot Noir wines, which is a notoriously difficult wine to make well.
We will visit four of our favourite wineries and listen to the wine makers explaining with passion the history of their wines and inviting you to taste a variety of them.
Your wine tasting will be matched with a delightful gourmet lunch platter (not included in price) that will leave your taste buds tingling.
The Martinborough experience is topped off by visiting C'est Cheese in Featherston where you can indulge in an impressive selection of award winning cheeses.

Salimos encantados. Si lo comparás con hacerlo por tu cuenta, conviene. Nunca hubiéramos llegado a Martinborough por nuestra cuenta. Me quedé con las ganas de más tiempo en Featherston. Ideal para tener un panorama general y después volver a lo que más te gustó. De lo mejor que contratamos por internet.

Realmente valió cada peso. El chofer nos fue contando qué era cada cosa hasta Wellington. Muy buena relación precio calidad. Cinco estrellas bien merecidas.

Nada que reprochar, todo salió como estaba planteado. Pasar por C'est Cheese valió el tour entero. No esperaba que incluyera guía de turismo en Inglés, un plus. Los tiempos estaban bien calculados, no se sintió apurado. No es lo más barato, pero se justifica. Volveríamos a contratarlo.

Faultless, honestly. The stop at Martinborough Cloud Forest was our favourite. The ground staff were friendly from first contact. Do it early, fewer people and much better light. We would book again.

We found it well run and correct. The ground staff were friendly from first contact. The room at Wellington Foxwoods is a gem in itself. Drinks took a while to arrive at the start. A good experience on balance.

Much better than I had imagined. I compared prices before booking and this was the best deal. Seeing a bit of Martinborough on the way was a bonus. Everything ran on time and was well organised. An experience worth every minute.
