Description

Hop aboard your transport in central Amsterdam and settle in for the scenic journey out of the city to the Dutch countryside. En route to several North Holland villages, listen to your audio guide and learn about the passing sights, including dikes and polders, areas of land reclaimed from the water. Your first stop is at Zaanse Schans, a pretty town on the Zaan River and a popular destination due to its well-preserved windmills, some dating back to the 17th century. See evocations of traditional Dutch life at the historical shipyard, as well as iconic Holland windmills.
Next, continue to Volendam and Marken and admire a quaint scene of fishing boats and the occasional local wearing traditional Dutch dress. In addition to roughly 45-minute stops in each town, you'll visit a nearby cheese farm for a demonstration and a sampling of its dairy production. A visit to a local shoemaker to admire the art of carving and painting the wooden clogs the Netherlands is known for is also a memorable part of the trip. Once you've snapped plenty of photos, your 5.5-hour tour concludes with the return to central Amsterdam by coach.
Please note that this tour requires a moderate amount of walking.

Ideal para conocer la ciudad

Justo lo que buscábamos. Conocer un poco de Dutch en el camino fue un plus. No es lo más barato, pero se justifica. Cinco estrellas bien merecidas.

Lo mejor del viaje

Simplemente perfecto. Recomiendo hacerlo temprano, hay menos gente y mejor luz. Lo de Marken y Volendam fue el momento del día. Una experiencia que vale cada minuto.

Bien, con detalles

Un buen paseo, sin llegar a ser inolvidable. El guía cumplió, sin ser memorable. La atención previa a la reserva fue muy clara con todas nuestras dudas. Terminar en Marken y Volendam Barcelona fue el mejor cierre. Los tragos incluidos eran bastante básicos.

Buena experiencia

Buena elección si es tu primera vez en Amsterdam. Nos tocó un día despejado en Volendam e Marken y fue una suerte enorme. Sale más que hacerlo suelto, pero te ahorra toda la organización. La atención previa a la reserva fue muy clara con todas nuestras dudas. Nos hubiera gustado saber antes que había que caminar bastante. Lo recomendaría igual.

Impecable, no le encuentro un pero. El guía fue un capítulo aparte: sabía muchísimo y contestó todas nuestras preguntas. Usamos transporte en autobús de lujo con aire acondicionado y Wi-Fi gratis todo el tiempo y funcionó perfecto. Lo recomiendo sin dudar.
