Description
Returning to Route 3, the tour continues, reaching the Andes mountain range crossing via Garibaldi Pass, the southernmost and terminal portion of the vast Andes mountain range.
Around mid-morning, you will arrive at Puesto La Carmen. You will have a hot drink and walk along the shore of Lake Fagnano, also known by the Ona people as "The Horizon's Rest," because the imaginary horizon line formed by the mountain range is interrupted by the lake. Then, you will continue on the other side.
Around noon, you will reach the Garibaldi Pass viewpoint to admire Lake Escondido from above. Its name comes from its location in a deep valley in the middle of the mountains.
We will return to the winter resort for lunch and then head back to the city of Ushuaia.

Nothing to fault, everything went as described. Tierra del Fuego was the perfect finish to the day. The guide gave us restaurant tips that turned out to be spot on. At Lake Escondido we just stood there in silence, taking it in. For what we paid, it is exceptional value. The group was small, which made it all much calmer. I would have liked a little longer at the last stop. An experience worth every minute.

In winter, Lake Fagnano is replaced by a stop at Valles Invernales (a ski resort at the base of Cerro Castor).
Depending on availability and weather conditions, the excursion may alternate between the following winter resorts: Tierra Mayor, Las Cotorras, and Llanos del Castor, with priority given to Tierra Mayor.
Some hotels in the city are not included in our pickup itinerary. If this is the case, we will contact you to indicate the nearest hotel where we will pick you up for the excursion. You must wait for your guide in the lobby of the designated hotel. It is not possible to schedule pickup or drop-off from or to the port.
In order to confirm your reservation, we require the following information for all passengers: Full name, date of birth, ID or passport, nationality, hotel, and contact phone number. If there are minors under 18 years of age, please provide a passport photo. Failure to provide complete information will result in your reservation being unconfirmed.
