Description
The adventure begins in 4WD vehicles along the emblematic Route 40, heading to the majestic Santa Cruz River. Once there, after a brief technical talk and equipped with state-of-the-art dry suits, we set out to paddle in the calm waters that once inspired Darwin.
Discover the magic of nature as you navigate the river. You will be surprised by impressive geological formations and a rich Patagonian fauna, immersing you in a landscape that seems to come from another time.
After paddling 15 km down the river, we will arrive at the cozy Estancia Río Bote, where a delicious lunch awaits you on the banks of the river, the perfect place to relax and share stories before returning to El Calafate.
It is not just an excursion, it is a trip to the heart of Patagonia, an opportunity to connect with its history, its nature and Darwin's epic explorer.

Nos pareció correcto y bien organizado. Por el precio que pagamos, la verdad que rinde muchísimo. Todo el trámite fue digital, no tuvimos que imprimir nada. Los baños en el camino son bastante básicos. Igual lo volvería a hacer.

Excelente experiencia de principio a fin. Nos tocó un día despejado en Combina y fue una suerte enorme. El paisaje en Estancia Río Bote no entra en una foto. El guía nos avisó dónde valía la pena parar a sacar fotos. Sale más que hacerlo suelto, pero te ahorra toda la organización. Lo recomendaría a cualquiera que visite El Calafate.

Minors under 16 years of age cannot carry out this activity, without exception. Minors between 16 and 18 years old must be accompanied by an adult, without exception.

The activity is highly demanding, so passengers must be in moderate physical condition.
