Completed tour around the Barrio Histórico and surroundings.
Passengers are picked up from hotels, port or bus stations. Visit the industrial zone, and Parque Ferrando and its surrounding area.
Next, go over the Real de San Carlos area, making a stop in San Benito Chapel and Complejo Mihanovich: the antique hotel (Present seat of Universidad Politécnica de Valencia), la Plaza de Toros, el Frontón (fronton), the Hipodrome, the Usina (industry) and the Dock. On the west coast, skirting the bay and its beaches, go through the various residential neighborhoods. Then, get to downtown and enter Barrio Histórico (Historical neighborhood) through Portón de Campo de la Antigua Colonia del Sacramento (Gate belonging to old Colonia de Sacramento). Guided tour around the neighborhoods, wherever you get to know every interesting topic which made it possible for this neighbourhood to be declared a World Heritage site by UNESCO in 1995.

Nos pareció correcto y bien organizado. Recomiendo hacerlo temprano, hay menos gente y mejor luz. Solo por Rambla Colonia del Sacramento vale la pena el paseo. No teníamos idea de la historia de Portón de Campo. El traslados desde hoteles céntricos hasta el Puerto de Colonia vale por sí solo. Si lo comparás con hacerlo por tu cuenta, conviene. La frecuencia entre unidades podría ser mejor en las paradas del final.

Una de las mejores cosas que hicimos en Colonia de Sacramento. Aprendimos más de la ciudad en unas horas que leyendo tres guías. De todo el recorrido, Suspiros es lo que más recuerdo. Se respetó al minuto el horario de regreso. Pasar por Suspiros valió el tour entero. Se notaba que el guía es de la zona, contaba cosas de primera mano. Si volvemos a Colonia de Sacramento, lo repetimos.

Justo lo que buscábamos. Portón de Campo nos voló la cabeza, no esperábamos algo así. Se puede hacer tranquilo sin estar en estado físico. Se ve que el guía elige bien qué contar, nunca se hizo pesado.
