On the shores of Lake Argentino, caves are hidden that protect the legacy of an ancient culture. Its cave paintings, engraved in the rock, tell us stories that time has not been able to erase.
Aboard 4WD vehicles, we will cross the impressive 25 de Mayo Natural Reserve while our expert guide shares exciting stories about man's passage through these untamed lands.
The tour takes us to the top of a viewpoint, where you will have the opportunity to capture with your camera a spectacular panoramic view of El Calafate, Lake Argentino and the Andes Mountains. A living postcard that will remain engraved in your memory!
Punta Walichu, where History Speaks: We head towards Punta Walichu, a unique archaeological site. On foot, we will travel a 500-meter path with our guide, exploring cave paintings and learning about the techniques used by the Tehuelches to capture their art on the rocks.
The adventure culminates in a cave nestled in this fascinating archaeological environment. Here, with Lake Argentino stretching out before us, we will enjoy an exquisite three-course lunch or dinner (depending on the time chosen). A solid way to see El Calafate. The stop at Connection was our favourite. Perfect for getting an overview, then going back to what you liked most. The only miss was no water available, especially in that heat. A good option, especially on a first visit.

Excellent from start to finish. Going through Lake Argentino made the whole tour worth it. For what is included, the price is more than fair. You could tell the guide was a local, telling it first hand. If we come back to El Calafate, we will do it again.
